It's academic

What makes teaching so interesting is spending 15 weeks with 30+ students, who come from all walks of life. I am often in awe of the obstacles they've overcome just to be in the classroom. I see students working hard to juggle part-time (to near full-time) jobs and extracurricular responsibilities with a heavy course schedule.

Plus...they  make me laugh. A lot.

Writing for PR

PR & Social Media

Global PR in London

As social media scientists, students review research by Wharton Professor Jonah Berger in "Contagious: Why things catch on." The lessons students learn are turned into engaging content that helps to build their online presence.

Global PR in London Study Abroad has been taking students to this exciting, historic world capital since 2012. The schedule varies year to year but includes visits with leaders in professional communication, including Edelman, H&K Strategies, Ogilvy, Ketchum and other agencies. We also meet with corporate comms and directors of social and traditional media relations in fashion and sports.

As soascial media

As social media managers, students work in teams by platform to promote Mason Comm's annual fall forum.

As social media strategists, students create a campaign to address an issue they care about.
